The China (Guangxi)–ASEAN International Expo on Construction Materials and Machinery opened at the Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center. Government officials and industry representatives from China and ASEAN countries engaged in discussions on topics such as green building, smart manufacturing, and standards alignment, aiming to promote high-quality development in the regional construction industry.
Co-organized by the China Construction Metal Structure Association and the Guangxi Construction Industry Federation, the expo featured six themed exhibition halls with a total exhibition area of nearly 20,000 square meters. It covered ten major categories, including steel structures, doors, windows and curtain walls, water supply and drainage equipment, and construction machinery, attracting nearly 200 companies to participate.
During the opening ceremony, the China Construction Metal Structure Association and the Vietnam Door and Window Association signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on technology sharing, standards development, and market connectivity, fostering deeper industrial integration. Representatives from the construction departments of ASEAN countries such as Myanmar and Cambodia also expressed their views freely, expressing their expectations for enhanced cooperation with China in the construction field.
