Butterfly valve in the soft seal class structure and performance introduction

Butterfly valve is widely used in urban construction, petrochemical, metallurgy, electric power and other industries in the medium pipeline to do cut off or adjust the flow of the best device. First of all, the single eccentric structure of soft seal butterfly valve, seat sealing cross-section or butterfly plate thickness of the direction of the equidistant line and the center of rotation of the valve stem relative eccentric, so that the butterfly valve in the process of opening, the butterfly plate sealing surface gradually away from the valve seat sealing surface. Butterfly plate rotation to 20 ~ 25 °, the butterfly plate sealing surface completely separated from the valve seat sealing surface, so that the butterfly valve in the opening process, the relative mechanical wear and extrusion between the two sealing surfaces is greatly reduced, so that the butterfly valve sealing performance can be improved. This design mainly relies on the elastic deformation generated by the extrusion between the butterfly plate and the valve seat to ensure the sealing of the butterfly valve.

 

On the basis of single eccentric butterfly valve, the rotating center of butterfly plate is offset from the center line of valve flow path, which makes the butterfly valve form cam effect during opening process, so that the sealing surface of butterfly plate can be separated from the sealing surface of valve seat faster than single eccentric structure. When the butterfly plate rotates to 8°~12°, the sealing surface of the butterfly plate is completely separated from the sealing surface of the valve seat. The design of this structure greatly reduces the relative mechanical wear and extrusion deformation between the two sealing surfaces, which improves the sealing performance of the butterfly valve.

Resilient butterfly valve

And on the basis of double eccentric butterfly valve, the center line of the seat sealing surface forms an angular eccentricity with the center line of the valve, which makes the sealing surface of the butterfly plate immediately detach from the seat sealing surface at the moment of opening during the process of butterfly plate opening, and only contact and press the seat sealing surface at the moment of closing. This unique combination of eccentricity makes full use of the cam effect, completely eliminates the mechanical friction and abrasion between the two sealing surfaces of the butterfly valve sealing vice when the valve opens and closes, and removes the possibility of abrasion and leakage. The extruded seal is changed to torque seal, and the adjustment of the sealing pressure is realized by adjusting the external driving torque, so that the sealing performance and service life of the three eccentric structure sealed butterfly valve are greatly improved.
