The production process of wafer butterfly valve from TWS Valve Part TWO

Today, let’s continue to introduce the production process of wafer butterfly valve part two.

The second step is the Assembly of the valve. :

1. On the butterfly valve assembling production line, use the machine to press the bronze bushing to valve body.

2. Put the valve body on the assembly machine, and adjust the direction and position.

3. Put the valve disc and rubber seat on the valve body, operate the assembly machine to pressure them into the valve body, and make sure the markings of valve seat and body are at the same side.

4. Insert the valve shaft into the shaft hole inside of the valve body, press the shaft into valve body by hand.

5. Put the splint ring into the shaft hole;

6. Use a tool to put the circlip into the groove of the top flange of the valve body, and ensure the circlip won’t fall off.

The step three is Pressure testing:

 Based on the requirements on drawings, put the assembled valve on the pressure test table. The nominal pressure of the valve we used today is pn16, so the shell test pressure is 24bar, and the seat test pressure is 17.6bar.

1.  Firstly its shell pressure test, 24 bar and keep one minute;

2. Seat pressure test of the front side, 17.6bar and keep one minute;

3. Seat pressure test of the back side, also is 17.6bar and keep one minute;

The part four is Install the gearbox:
1. Adjust the direction of the shaft hole on gearbox and the shaft head on valve, and push the shaft head into the shaft hole.
2. Tighten the bolts and gaskets, and firmly connect the worm gear head to the valve body.
3. After installing the worm gear, then adjust the position indicate plate on the gearbox, to make sure the valve can be fully open and close.

Number five Clean the valve and Repair the coating: 

After the valve is completely assembled, then we need to clean the water and dirty on the valve. And, after the assembling and pressure test process, mostly there will be coating damage on the body, then we need to repair the coating by hand.

Nameplate:  When the repaired coating is dry, then we will rivet the nameplate to valve body. Check the information on the nameplate, and nail it onto the correct location.

Install the hand wheel: The purpose of installing the hand wheel is to test whether the valve can be fully open and close by the hand wheel. Generally, we operate it three times, to make sure it can open and close the valve smoothly.

Resilient Butterfly Valve

Packing:
1.  The normal packing of one valve is packed by a poly bag first, and then put into wooden box. Please pay attention, the valve disc is open when packing.
2. Put the packed valves into wooden box neatly, one by one, and layer by layer, ensure the space is fully used. Also, between the layers, we use paperboard or PE foam to avoid crashing during transportation.
3. Then seal the case with a packer.
4. Paste the shipping mark.

After all above processes, then the valves are ready to ship.
