Initiated by the China General Machinery Industry Association in 2001. Respectively in September 2001 and May 2004 at the Shanghai International Exhibition Center, exhibition hall in Beijing in November 2006, October 2008 in Beijing China International Exhibition Center, October 2010 in Beijing exhibition hall, October 2012 and October 2014 in Shanghai World Expo exhibition hall  the IFME has held seven sessions. After seven sessions of cultivation and development,  it has become the largest and most professional, the highest level, the best commercial effect of the international professional exhibition.
