Taboo 7

Measures: after welding the pipe, the pipe should not be staggered on a center line; the gap should be left; the thick wall pipe should be shoveled. In addition, the width and height of the weld shall be welded according to the specification requirements.
Taboo 8
The pipeline is directly buried in the frozen soil and the untreated loose soil, and the spacing and position of the pipeline support piers are improper, and even in the form of dry yard brick.
Consequences: Due to the unstable support, the pipeline was damaged in the process of backfill compaction, resulting in rework and repair.
Measures: the pipeline shall not be buried in the frozen soil and untreated loose soil, the pier spacing should meet the requirements of the construction specifications, the support pad should be strong, especially the pipeline interface, should not bear the shear force. Brick support piers should be built with water and sand slurry to ensure integrity and firmness.
Taboo 9
The expansion bolt of the fixed pipe support material is inferior, the aperture of the installation expansion bolt is too large or the expansion bolt is installed on the brick wall or even the light wall.
Consequences: the pipe support is loose, the pipe deformation, or even fall off.
Measures: expansion bolts must choose qualified products, if necessary, should be sampled for test inspection, the aperture of installing expansion bolts should not be greater than 2mm outer diameter of expansion bolts, expansion bolts should be applied to the concrete structure.
Taboo 10
The flange plate and liner are not strong enough, and the connecting bolts are short or thin in diameter. Rubber pad is used for thermal pipe, double cushion or inclined pad for cold water pipe, and flange liner protruding into the tube.
Consequences: the flange plate connection is not tight, or even damage, leakage phenomenon. The flange insert into the tube will increase the flow resistance.
Measures: Pipe flange plate and liner must meet the requirements of pipe design working pressure.
Rubber asbestos pad for heating and hot water supply pipes and rubber pads for water supply and drainage pipes.
The flange liner shall not penetrate into the tube, its outer circle to the flange bolt hole is appropriate. No inclined pad or several liners shall be placed in the middle of the flange. The diameter of the bolt connecting the flange should be less than 2mm larger than the aperture of the flange plate, and the length of the bolt rod protruding nut should be 1 / 2 of the thickness of the nut.
Taboo 11
The specifications and models of the installed valve do not meet the design requirements.
For example, the nominal pressure of the valve is less than the system test pressure; the gate valve for the feed water branch pipe when the pipe diameter is less than or equal to 50mm; the dry and risers for hot water heating; and the fire pump suction pipe adopts butterfly valve.
Consequences: affect the normal opening and closing of the valve and adjust the resistance, pressure and other functions. Even cause the system operation, the valve damage is forced to repair.
Measures: Be familiar with the application scope of various valves, and select the specifications and models of valves according to the design requirements. The nominal pressure of the valve shall meet the requirements of the system test pressure. According to the construction code: stop valve shall be used when the pipe diameter is less than or equal to 50mm; gate valve shall be used when the pipe diameter is greater than 50mm. Hot water heating dry, vertical control valve should be used gate valve, fire water pump suction pipe should not use butterfly valve.
