Worm Gear
Description:
TWS produces series manual high efficiency worm gear actuator, is based on the 3D CAD framework of modular design, the rated speed ratio can meet the input torque of all different standards, such as AWWA C504 API 6D, API 600 and others.
Our worm gear actuators, have been widely applied for the butterfly valve, ball valve,plug valve and other valves, for opening and closing function. BS and BDS speed reduction units are used in the pipeline network applications. The connection with the valves can meet ISO 5211 standard and customized.
Characteristics:
Use famous brand bearings to improve efficiency and service life. Worm and input shaft are fixed with 4 bolts for higher safety.
Worm Gear is sealed with O-ring, and the shaft hole is sealed with rubber sealing plate to provide all-round water-proof and dust-proof protection.
The high efficiency secondary reduction unit adopts high strength carbon steel and heat treatment technique. More reasonable speed ratio provides a lighter operation experience.
The worm is made of ductile iron QT500-7 with the worm shaft （carbon steel material or 304 after quenching）， combined with high-precision processing, has the characteristics of wear resistance and high transmission efficiency.
The die-casting aluminum valve position indicator plate is used to indicate the opening position of the valve intuitively.
The body of worm gear is made of high-strength ductile iron, and its surface is protected by epoxy spraying. The valve connecting flange conforms to IS05211 standard, which makes the sizing more simple.
